When Yenia and Mario, her adoptive grandparents, die in strange conditions, Laura needs to understand what happened. She begins a search that will lead her to meet those who knew Yenia as she was: Pushkin’s admirer, pianist, painter, set designer, militant, the loving wife of Mario with whom she shared a romance that lasted half a century until their tragic outcome. While discovering the history of Yenia, admired for her ideals and unwavering ethics, Laura will review her own history, her exile, art, and adulthood.
